I am not sure if this is the corrrect solution but I right clicked to bring up the DSL menu and than under "system" I chose "X Setup". Once I did that I selected to use the Xfbdev server, because I was having the same problem. If there is a better way to fix I would love for someone to post it and help both of us out.

he adssse,

would you happen to know where i can find Display like in Windows, Control Panel. It occured to me that in Display you could turn on the option of never turning off the monitor. That might solve the problem too.

Thanks for your solution anyway, it seems it solved my  problem for now. I left the screen yesterday on en just now now looked at it. It looks it did not turned off the monitor or the system eitherway. Im not sure whether somebody moved the mouse or did anything about. Nor do i remember what i did last. But today i will monitor it for at least an hour or 7. Plenty of time to check out if its working accordingly to my wishes. Thanks again.
