Thanks SO much for the reply..at first I thought I had offended people here in the forums by asking some questions. I've made it a priority..to learn as much as I can about linux and damn small linux. I figure if I can get other distro's to display properly on my desktop, ( puppy linux, linspire, knoppix, etc. ) then I should be able to get DSL to do the same. Also..since I can get online via a external serial modem with the other distro's, I should be able to do so with DSL.Have a GREAT day !  :)
