Hello All,
I'm trying to learn how to use dsl and linux at the same time, and it can tend to get on my nerves sometimes. I've tried other distributions of linux lately, such as ...linspire, puppy linux, knoppix,
etc. With all of them I can get a dialup internet connection setup ok. So far with dsl..I can't seem to get that accomplished, also my screen display isn't correct either. I can't get the program icons to display on the screen, I guess for now..I should just stick to the other distro.'s...until I can hopefully become more familiar with dsl and linux. I really want to learn everything I can about dsl, so I can enjoy it to it's fullest. But I guess I'm just rushing myself too quickly. Thanks for reading this..I really wish there was a detailed user guide as to how to use dsl.

Do you get a graphic desktop at all?

Running the command "sudo xsetup.sh" will give you a way to adjust settings for Xvesa...maybe trying various options will give you a working setup.
