Please help a newbie.
I downloaded DSL from LG to my hard drive. The file size was 35MB (I thought it would be 50 MB). I burned the file using Nero as and image. Before Nero started the download, I got a message that said: The entered block size does not correspond to the image length. The block size may be wrong. Do you wnat to correct the value or ignore the problem? I clicked ignore. Was this the correct thing to do?
I placed the CD in my computer and rebooted but my Windows 95 OS loaded instead of DSL.
I rebooted again and hit the F8 key and a window poped up with: Microsoft Windows 95 Startup Menu with these options 1) Normal 2) Logged (\BOOTLOG.TXT) 3) Safe Mode 4) Safe mode with network support 5) Step-by-step confirmation 6) Command prompt only 7) Safe mode command prompt only
Could I use any of these options to boot from the CD drive?
I also have a boot floppy. Is there a command I could type at the A prompt to boot from the CD drive?
Thanks in advance for any help. I am soooooo tired of Windows.
Thanks, Yeto
