I have a esscom.o file that I ran fixscript on and it is ok. When I do a depmod -e on the file no errors are generated, and insmod installs the driver, no errors.
What do I do next to get this dang modem working? Can someone out there in Linux land help. I can't wait to format my drive and get rid of Microsoft Windows forever.
By he way, to run fixscript I had to download gcc1.dsl because of the objcopy command in the fixscript file.
