I'll admit, I'm no guru. That said....
I've got a Slackware 10.1 box setup that I wanted to be able to connect to other machines. Because of FAT requiring root to add/delete/modify, I've decided to change my other boxes over to something else. That something else happened to be DSL. Now, trying to see the files so I can mount the DSL box in the Slackware box, when I try starting nfs-common, I get statdstatd: Cound not chdir: No such file or directory. How can I go about doing this without too many headaches? All-in-all, I've got 6 computers I would like to run DSL on including an Inspiron 9300 which will be here in 2-3 days.
thanks in advance
