I have a maching with a HDD install of DSL. I was wondering how I would go about disabling the gui, so everytime I login, I don't have to have the gui start, and can start it if I need to.

I have tried switching through all the runlevels, but no matter what, when I login the GUI starts.
Is the only way to disable the gui to add the nogui option to lilo, if so, then how do I configure DSL so that each run level is different and at least one does not boot a GUI upon login.

I have also tried searching but couldnt' find anything on this subject here.

Thank you in advance,

They say if you play a Microsoft CD backwards, you hear satanic messages. That's nothing, cause if you play it forwards, it installs Windows.
