I just got an Epia 5000 from the Mini-ITX store. They forgot the flash and OS, so I thought I'd try to do it myself with a USB stick. First I wanted to boot from CD, per instructions on this board. I've made several CDs and I always get the following message on boot:
ISOLINUX 2.04 (Debian, 2003-06-06) isolinux: Loading spec packet failed, trying to wing it... isolinux: Extremely broken BIOS detected, last ditch attempt with drive = 9F isolinux:Disk error 01, AX=42FA, drive 9F
Boot Failed:...
The CD must be at least partially ok or I wouldn't see any Linux messages. I verified the MD5 of the .iso file. I used both NERO and MagicISO to burn the CDs - same results. Tried 2 different CDROMs too - same results.
Any ideas?
