I'm trying to install the latest Symbios LSI drivers for my Symbios SCSI controller card.  The old ncr53c8xx drivers are out of date according to the guy who made em.  Anyway, I downloaded em and got em over to my computer.  Right now it can only recognize one SCSI drive when I have two in there...  I go to run the InstallScript and it says that the Linux Root Tree is not in /usr/src/linux

Where would this be in DSL?  Thanks for the help. :)

I think all that was taken out of DSL to save space?

Ahh.  Hmm... well, I'll give Debian a shot and see how that goes.  Shame, I wanted to use DSL.  Oh well.  Be back in a bit. :)

I tried Debian and it doesn't have a /usr/src/linux/ folder either.... where in the world do these distros keep the drivers and such?  ???

grab the kernelsource.dsl extension from the repository !
It's in the "testing" area.

It has the entire /usr/src/linux from the 5-17-2004 Knoppix build,
Just what you need for any DSL version from 0.8 on up..

enjoy,
