Hey People,

I have yet another problem,  when I booted up DSL on my older pentium 75 (85 ram, etc, same as the one I was talking about earlier). I can't really do anything, I do get X, but once there things don't look all that great. And I can't run most of the programs. Any help would be great!

Try booting with "dsl vga=normal" and see how that works. I usually choose xvesa 800x600 16bit color. To date, that has worked for me every time.

also, you might try the "noenhance" option so that it doesnt load the icons and sidebar, saving ram for use in other things.
