 Ok, I got the cd working & get into the program. I tried setting up my dial-up & can't load my modem. I have an old US Robotics/3COM 56K Voice PCI modem. Will linux even work with it??  Also, I tried the bsetbg to load a picture on my e: drive (hda5) & got nothing. Do I have to install on HD to get everything to work right? Thanks for the help. Sorry to be so much trouble. If you ever have problems in Windows before XP ask. I know windows very well.
