*complete linux newbie*

Can it be done?

Can it be done without copying the whole thing to the target systems HD first? It's only a 250Mb drive so I'm kinda short on space. :(

If yes, how should/would I do it?

Is there any known incompatibility or support problem between the linux NFS implementation and what is available on Windows-SFU?

Don't know much windows. but you could try our floppy network install. Parition the 250 into 60MB and remaining. Use the floppy network install method to install compressed into the smaller parition. Then use the boot floppy, that is a by prodduct of this procedure to do a full regular enhanced install into the larger parition.
