Have you tried the usb boot floppy image file that was released at the time of 0.6.3?
You may need to introduce some sort of wait state to give the card time to get powered up.  May also need some extra kernel module on the floppy to activate the card.   Sorry I can't help more.

yes i have tried the boot disk, and yes i have tried a "wait state" or time waiting but none of them worked. the only time i see it power up is when the os is booting. configging itself on startup on linux and windows os, and i can`t use it in dos. thanks for adless tring to help i guess i should just use dsl the way it was mint to be use.

sounds like your BIOS is not USB aware.  To boot from USB, you need to set it in the boot order in the computer's BIOS
