I am having problems getting my apps to run after I make my backup

I have edited all the files in the instructions that dillo says I should and they flat refuse to load

when the backup starts at boot time I get the error message no command line

I want to get all the files I need for alsa to run and gaim

I have all the files on the ramdisk and backed up so when I do reboot they are there

what am I doing wrong and what are the command lines I need to run them

If anyone know of a good turorial for a newbie on dsl please let me know where I can find I would love to read it and learn more.

so what files do I need to edit the .filetool.lst /opt/bootlocal.sh or .xinitrc file and what should I be putting in each of these files when I edit them

Thank you for your help
