How do I disable the shell colors. I don't use X, I only boot to the shell and am using a remote serial terminal. The problem is my terminal shows the color codes and it is very annoying. So how do I disable all colors in the shell. Thanks

you are using rsh?

Why don't you use something more modern like telnet or ssh.

They are much more efficient, and ssh is very secure, thanks to ssl encryption.

DSL should have both a telnet and a ssh daemon.

I'm using ssh right now, but i want a dedicated terminal for it. It makes it much easier for me.
