Hello,  i am having a problem to boot dsl in a pc with a microsoft natural keybard pro with USB conector.
The dsl just don't boot when the keyboard is coneccted it get stuck where the little tux image appear on the sreen then the cursor blinks 3 times on the sreen and the pc freezes. no key answer on keybord. But if i connect a normal ps2 keyboard during booting it boots fine, then on dsl i disconect the ps2 keyboard and hook up the microsoft USB keyboard again and it starts working in some seconds. Anyone have any idea how to solve these? couse i manage to perform a hd install these way but everytime i boot i have to change the keyboard and thats just annoying...
Thanks for your help

PS: These problem does not happends with other distros like SLAX - RED HAT - SUSE - FEDORA or UBUNTU but it happends with all knoppix bassed distros i have try (The penguin linux sleuth kit - Knoppix - DSL - Morphix)  i cant remember but i belive i have had these problem also with PHLAK.

You will find that you cant enter the BIOS with your USB keyboard either.  The problem is not that the computer is freezing, it is that the motherboard is not set up to recognize a usb keyboard connection.  Find the setting in the BIOS that allows for USB keyboard support and turn it on.

I have both dos usb and usb keyboard enabled from the bios, couse it detects the keyboard on boot up and i can use it.
Also the keyboard works fine over dos and other linux distros so motherboard is not the problem, as i said before the problem apparently is just with knoppix based distros, and durring boot up couse then i can hook it up perfectly.
I have try to take out the USB2.0 via pci card and plug it directly on the mother usb conector but problem remains.
Sorry i forgot to put computer model
Here are the details:
Chaintech CT-7ATA v2.0 (up to 1000Mhz) motherboard with the newest bios available flashed.

Nvidia Ge Force 440MX 64MB DDR AGP 4X with tvout
Creative Sound blaster Live Value Sound Card
Realtek Ethernet adapter

Sony 16x DVD-Recorder
Microsoft Natural Keyboard pro (latin american editon)
