I will show you how in M$ , way , you can do it with linux too. step 1, ( yah , backup first ,as always) defrag target drive when done make sure you have plenty of free space, like 5 gig. 2: using PM8 or PM8 for dos, resize partition, so you have a little 2gig partition at the end of your big disk. 3.) now format it with fat32. Never shrink you NTFS partition less then 33% as the MFT is in the center and PM8 , sometimes kills it with 50% resize. good luck.
