I have tried to use the installation program in DSL to install a printer, but no luck.  I have an HP4000 printer connected to a small (tiny) print server connected to my network.  The print server's name is HP4000N-P1 at adress 192.168.0.35.
Exactly how do I get connected to it?

I was able to connect to my network printer but I could not do this using the base printer package apsfilter.  I had to download CUPS and use the LDP or IPP protocols.

To discuss the use of CUPS this topic should be moved to the mydsl printer forum per request of the moderator.
