I administer to 100+ Windows XP workstations at my job.

However, I hate using Windows, and my boss likes me to log on to MSN messenger while on duty.

I've tried ayttm, aMSN, etc from the myDSL repository. the error message I keep getting is related to 'bad cookies' from the Microsoft server.

Is there a client that plays well with their server?

I'm having no trouble with amsn-0.94.uci , but that's with a direct internet connection, not behind a proxy. It looks like amsn can be configured for a proxy from it's preferences menu though.

Our setup is 10/100 Ethernet,  ran through DHCP controlled by a Microsoft Exchange server, and connected to a T1 line.

I'll try to configure the proxy though.

Thanks for the advice. The proxy wasn't the problem, it was that I needed to get the aMSN version that you used... The one I originally used must not have been compatible... Thanks!

Has anybody figured out this "Bad Cookies" thingie?  I'm using ayttm for my AIM and Yahoo! connections.  It seems wasteful somehow to load aMsn too and run it at the same time when ayttm is supposed to be able to do it.
