I have installed dsl to hd ( non frugal) and downloaded several .dsl extensions. with one click of mydsl these installed and work fine..with the exception of the eboard which required the book.bins to be moved to it from crafty...I now have opera to install...
when I click mydsl it installs and places an icon on the desktop like the others but...when I click the icon it opens a looong window with a white empty page...I had to drag it many times to find the x and close it..what may be the problem...do I need to move folders? does this require additional files..non were mentioned in the info file except dsl version..I am useing the current. would appreciate any info related to installing opera thanks

HI
The problem you are having is with an incompatible font.  I'm not sure which version of Opera you downloaded but I thought it was fixed in Opera 7.54u1.dsl.  Since I haven't done anything but a frugal install for a long time I'm not sure if that creates a problem.
Good luck

Oh..thanks..I seen mention of it in the info but thought it was in relation to older versions of dsl..I downloaded the 754u1 as it said it ran well on older machines..did not really understand the version thing.what version of dsl does this work on ..I am running current and should I try the other available version 6?..if so can I install over or do I have to reinstall dsl again. could I delete the entries related to opera and install the other version?..any help appreciated..thanks
