Hi there,

I installed the 2.3 to USB stick and also downloaded some from the site and they worked fine, but how do I uninstall the standard apps like Dillo browser and the FL writer that I don't use ? I don't mind the size grow over 50M as I am not booting from small CD, but I want some apps that more suit my need. I also want to put those .dsl to a folder instead of the root, can I do that ?

2.3 includes a "mydsl" directory, from which extensions will be automatically installed.

Removing apps from a usb stick install will require you to remaster the KNOPPIX file.  The "Other Help Topics" forum has a thread specifically for this, which is currently at the top of the pile.  You can also find info at the Knoppix website.
