Hi,

Is there a XFree86.uci that I can download?  I am trying to install XFree86 on an IBM TP 560E with 32MB RAM.  myDSL doesn't work.  After searching the board, I tried moving /usr to the HD to increase the size of the ramdisk and that didn't work either.  I think I am running out of I nodes but I am not sure.  hda2:100MB for DSL, hda5: 800MB for /opt, /home and hda6: 320MB swap.

It is a frugal install and I want to avoid a full install.  hda1 has a win95 partition that I'd like to save.  I tried both DSL 2.4 and 3.0RC2

Is there a XFree86.uci that I can download?  Can somebody tell me how to load the uci, if it exists?  If not, can someone give me some pointers on what I should change in the configure files to make XFree86 self-contained and run in /opt ?

Or am I just trying to do something that's impossible and I should just stop screwing around??

Addtional info:
I want to try making a XFree86.uci, as suggested here:
http://damnsmalllinux.org/cgi-bin....58;st=5

I tried to compile (an failed) a few times to create an uci extension from source as explained here:
http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/talk/node/85
but that is way too much for a Linux newbie.
