go to tools ---->app--->install

reboot or what ever

Sorry for the swearing and cursing , but I have absolutely had enough,

ps the machine isnt connectect to the internet, is pentium 3 ram of 128 , and is running the latest DSL on the HD

grab the qcad.uci, transfer it to the machine that's not connected, then click on the mydsl icon then click on the bottom bar that say's local load(something like that) then just wait till it installs(in this case mounts) if there's no icon on the desktop right click> mydsl>qcad

uci is a special extension for low ram machines such as your's.

Why use Linux if you don't want to know?  You will find that in many cases you will NEED to learn at least a little about what's under the hood in order to accomplish what you want to do, particularly in a distro like DSL which comes with 0 documentation and very basic config tools.
