Hello, i really didn't know where to put this topic so i shoved it here.
The problem is this: i tried to play ghosts & bumpkins in dosbox however it doesn't start because the cpu core in config should be set to dynamic where default is normal.
I am running a usb install, so the question is where is the configuration file, so i can edit it?
I have found that after running mydsl on dosbox a U1 directory is created un the usb drive and in there there is one dosbox.conf however it doesn't seem to have any effect on the proggie. Where is the real sob? ???

There's a games thread somewhere...
Don't know much about it, but the mortal kombat 2 package that I tried to make has it's run command pointing to a dedicated dosbox.conf file in the /opt/mk2 dir.  I think you make a dosbox.conf for every game, specifying it's settings.
Try downloading one of the dosbox games in the mydsl repository, and copy how it was set up.

I originally got MK2 to run OK on my machine, but I think I majorly overdid the CPU settings, and no matter what I set them to, I can't get other machines (or mine, now) to run it smoothly, plays at like 20% speed.  Theoretically it should run great, but...

Hahahaha :D that was rather simple! I did download one of the games for dosbox and got the answer. Once you look into the exec link you see, that you can specify the config file dos box will use with -conf switch inexmpl dobox -conf /mn/sda2/dosbox/mk2/dosbox.conf this is quite useful for there are loads of parameters to tweak and make your game run smoothly.

I am having a bit of difficulty getting DOSbox to mount a C: drive. I used the INTRO command and entered the commands like the tips suggest, only changing

mount c /home/user/dosbox

to
mount c /usr/dosbox

I created a directory in usr called usr/dosbox

I'm using DSL on a full HD installation. Are there any docs I can read about fixing this problem, or can someone offer some advice? I really want to play Sons Of Liberty without having to install DOS on an old computer.

Thanks in advance.
