I've been trying to build SIAG to use on other systems and also to modify one or two features, hopefully to add an audit trail.

I've fixed one or two small bugs in the configure script (e.g., copy readme file to README or configure will hang). Now I've got stuck at a point where I'm told that the Xpm library is not found. I'm running on a Debian Testing system for builds, and have installed libxpm4, libxpm-dev, libgd2-xpm*, libgd-xpm-dev and libsscm* packages.

Either the location of particular libs have changed since SIAG froze (about 5 years ago), or else I'm missing something else.

Ideas welcome.
