It is the mydsl directory that is different and required. Not frugal, my bad.
Be sure to use a Linux directory to store your iso. Windows partitons/drive will not work.
DSL is not static and therefore the Wiki, being user contributed docs, will always be behind current releases. |
Ah, I think the program was trying to tell me that, but I didn't understand. The script did say run mydsl=xxxx but I didn't know what that meant.
I found out the hard way that a pen drive with vfat didn't work, changes KNOPPIX to lowercase, and then you can't boot once you've written the ISO
