As lucky said in your other post, you're asking a lot of questions that are answered in the wiki, on the "getting started" page, and in the faq. You'll find these answers a lot more quickly by reading those documents than by posting and waiting for an answer.
The mydsl folder is a directory you create which holds mydsl packages to auto-install when you boot a frugal/embedded/liveCD DSL system. If the directory is named "mydsl" and is located at the top level of an available disk, it should be automatically found. Otherwise you can specify a location with the boot option "mydsl=<device>" or "mydsl=<device></path/to/directory>". For example, "mydsl=hda4/home/dsl/mydsl"
