Well, it is possible to do it, but it is a long drawn out process. Definately not an easy thing to do if you're a newb. If you want to try, the instructions are somewhere on the forums. Just search for "Xfree86".
Honestly, though, it is a lot easier to just install Debian with the 2.4.26 kernel and Xfree or Xorg.
