I want to make a dsl for the abs spreadsheet program which was in older versions of dsl, but I can't seem to find the source.  All of the links I found were dead.  I got a version that claimed to be 0.9.07, but it shows .906 in the about menu option and is missing some dependancies, although I have no way of knowing what.  I would really like the source code if possible.  Did something happen to the author?  Did he get shut down?

I liked the abs spreadsheet a lot more than siag, which I found very foreign.  I'm sure that the sceme/lisp syntax can be learned, but I don't want to learn: I want to be productive.

Google says the home page is supposed to be http://www.ping.be/bertin/abs.shtml

However there is no such page, and no search results for "inurl:bertin" or "inurl:abs" on the domain www.ping.be

.. as you probably already know

Looks like development may possibly have been very very dead for a while.

Last version mentioned was 0.907 in 2001.

Usenet thread mentions source for Red Hat here.
