Is this a weirdness that I just don't understand something?

Turns out, you make your list or just start somewhere, click the bullet or numbered list button *AND* then click one of the indent right or indent left buttons just to the right of the bullet buttons to get the bullet to show up.

Sigh...

Just learning a new word processor and it's idiot-syncracies... (sic)

Also, just a thumbs up re DSL, very handy tool.  Thanks again folks.
