I need something like DSL for speed on an old box.  If I can get my printer working, have Firefox, etc. this may be just the ticket for me, except I need Java and C/C++ too.

The packages list at http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/packages.html says cpp is there, but I don't know how to access it.

Has anyone has success adding a Sun or IBM JDK ?

Thanks !

Is cpp installed with DSL ?  I saw it in the applications list, but it doesn't work from the command line.

Thanks,

I too would be interested in a JDK extension...

I am aware that there is already a JRE extension, but JDK would be t3h cool
