Hi all,
I'm trying to install the source of gnomemeeting 1.2.1. For that I already went through the installation of the pwlib and openh323 required by gnomemeeting. Check http://www.gnomemeeting.org/index.php?rub=5&path=sources/sources

But when I try to configure the gnomemeeting files (./configure), I'm stuck with lib dependencies. I can't install the libgtk2.0-dev which is required by Gnomemeeting. When I try, I have the following packages which are set as broken:
- libx11-dev
- libxext-dev
- libxi-dev
- libxv-dev

Here is my actual config, if it can helps:
- I'm running DSL 0.9.0
- the processor is an AMD athlon
- I have an ethernet connection which works fine (I go on the net, download, and I'm able to use a browser)
- I changed the source.lst file for synaptic from the stable link to the test link and I updated the package database.
- I loaded the gnu-utils file

Any advice welcome!
Thanks a lot

I found how to solve those problems: synaptic can't overwrite on libs already installed, and it looks like the libx* librarys need to be overwritten during the install process.

Consequently, I did:
cd /var/cache/apt/archives <enter>
dpkg -i --force-overwrite *.deb

Thanks to this, I pass through the installation of the gnomemeeting sources!

So you have gnomemeeting running in DSL? This would be a good .dsl package for me since our company uses netmeeting.
