Wyatt23, I used to feel like that about the venerable emelFM at first. It does take getting used to. But now I wouldn't swap it for fat-bottomed Konqueror for the world.
Try the click 'n' drag capability (hold down middle mouse button). Or the fact that you can just click on a tar archive and it will expand automatically into a temp file and show you the contents.
And then there's the configurable features - I add buttons for dsl unpacking & repacking, and for iso mounting/editing/burning. And the configurable launching-according-to-file-extensions - I add one for .rtf (Ted). And I change the Edit button to use scite (for editing scripts), but leave the default viewer alone.
It's a great program. Rox lasted about 20 seconds with me. Horses for courses, of course.
