Hi I'm trying to install feh http://linuxbrit.co.uk/feh/

feh-1.3.3.tar.gz un-ziped and un-tared

When I run the ./configure I get the error message "cat: Write Error: No space left on device"

I'm doing this on a 256MB USB Pendrive that I'm booted to. I have copied just a few files that don't even amount to 1MB. So I should have around 200MB or more free right?

I'm new to Linux, I'm assuming I just don't know what I'm doing here.

Help,

I often see this message if I'm running out of inodes or ram in my ramspace.
Are you running toram?
How much ram is in your box?

unzip and untar your feh file,
and copy the whole mess to somewhere permanent. ( sda2? )

then reboot, and try it again..
See if that frees up the ramspace you need..
