Interesting anglefire works for me and the testing group.
Will try your suggestion. Thanks for the feedback.

I have no issues with the webdata backup at all ..
Works great for me ..

Here's a test account for folks to test both their service,
and inet connection with the webdata backup ..

The test backup file contains a damnsmall.jpg logo from the main webpage ..

Opening the webdata tool gives you a form with four fields ..

Use these lines to test..

FTP URL: ftp.angelfire.com
Login: linux/webdata
Password: webdata
Datakey: webdata

Click restore to download, unencrypt, and install a copy
of the damnsmall.jpg logo into your /home/dsl directory.

You can use the same data to upload to angelfire as well.
Doing so will replace the data.des file on ftp.angelfire.com
with the contents listed in your webdata.lst file.

I have added passive to the webdata script and works fine.
If this means that we enable even more users and sites to use this feature then that is great!
Thanks for the suggestion, jls legalize. Look for this in 1.5.

Is it possible to select the connection port of the remote FTP server when running webdata backup/restore?

I tried putting ":[port number]" at the end of FTP URL, but that didn't seem to work.

If it's not available, may I humbly request it as an added feature?
