The DSL packages page mentions a file called dpkg.tar.gz The file was removed from the distribution due to it's size. Apparently this file can be extracted to /var/lib/dpkg/
I assume that if I extract this file into the directory, I might be able to use dpkg or apt to uninstall some packages from the standard distribution?
This is what I would like to do, but I cannot find the dpkg.tar.gz file on the FTP servers. Can anyone point me to this file?
Thanks
