Hi,

I've converted an old laptop to a digital photoframe. Now it's running DSL 1.5 from the HDD and it works pretty good.
But now comes the tricky part: what do I have to do, to automatically run a fullscreen slideshow in Xzgv after startup? Is this possible anyway?

Thanks a lot.

<edit> sorry, doublepost. </edit>

Autostart X programs by adding the command to /home/dsl/.xinitrc, followed by a '&'.

I don't think xzgv does slideshows.  You might want to look into gqview, imagemagick, or gtksee
