Hi folks,
Mighty difficult to decide where to post this, but here goes:
I've noticed that quite a few new Linux users, and this affects those who take on DSL, too, are fearful of playing around with the terminal (as well they should be if they are rash enough to be running as root all the time).
What I have learnt at http://linuxcommand.org/index.php has helped me immensely, so it occurred to me that it might be useful to other newbies.
