cbagger01, you're right. Except I would say that both machine code and then Assembly, but both were so machine specific that they probably did not include them. I would add a "cloud" with machine code linked to another "cloud" showing assembly code. I started programming with machine code SL3 and SL5,  later moved to assembly, but still did alot of hand assembly into machine code. All program traces were machine code, all patches that we applied were machine code.
Them were the days... Now all these fancy compilers, and interepters, GUI, how is an old guy like me to keep up!
