That is almost word-for-word how I used to remaster with
UltraIso in the windows environment..

It's Funny how UltraIso has the same crash and directory problems
that WinIso does!?...

I have been reading thru many posts here recently about using the
cdrecord and tools to do this in linux instead of XP.
So far, my success has been better than with XP, and several
issues with CDRW's and multisession seem to have diminished
under linux by not using a gui to do this..

Webpages like these really help...
http://www.cpqlinux.com/cdrw.html

As well as several detailed posts recently on this subject..

Thanks goes to the userbase for sharing in my remastering success.
One less reason to see a M$ logo in my day to day activities...

There was one odd thing. When I placed openoffice.dsl in the /optional directory, loaded DSL, and clicked to load it, nothing happened. I didnt get any error report... or I dont think I did. Was it just a bad burn or something (it was to a CDRW)? However, using the same cd, I reburned the iso with openoffice.dsl in top directory, and it worked just fine.

the openoffice.dsl may have gotten corrupted in the copy to ISO process. or been on a bad spot on the disk.

Try "mydsl-load name_of_app.dsl" from the command line.
