What is '/tmp/mydsl.icons"?  I've never used it, and it seems like there has been no change which requires it.

/tmp/mydsl.icons is a temporary holding area for internal use only.
It is used to first collect incomming icons and compare with exsisting icons.
It is part of the new icon and menu management of the myDSL system.
It mainly comes into play when using the persistence /home and /opt and without using a backup/restore.

mydsl.icons  does not affect the way you build your extensions.

There are only two changes to myDSL specifications:
1. The  /tmp/mydsl.menu/extension_name must match the actual extension name.
2.  The extensions should not be specified by using relative paths.
