I'm pretty new to Linux. So the answer to this might be obvious, but I've never burned live cds before. I've downloaded two programs that can burn isos, but I can't figure out how to add files to them. I have a couple of .dsl files I'd like to add, and I'd also like to save a bunch of read-only files to the cd if that's possible. How would I do this?

What cd-burning programs are you refering to?  Different programs have different capabilities so it will be hard for us to give any specific help, except to tell you to read the programs' documentation.  The procedure can be as simple as dragging the iso file to the program's window, and then drag the rest of the DSL extensions to the opened iso file, and then clicking on the "burn" button.  The problem is we do not know what you have.

Well, I'm not sure what program I'll use. The ones I've tried so far only want to accept the ISO file and nothing else. But where should the DSL files be? Inside the ISO?

Please explain as completely as you can exactly what you are doing, what programs you tried to use, what error messages you got, ... whatever you saw or heared while doing what you were doing.
