Solved it myself ...

I added the following line to bootlocal.sh:

mydsl-load /mnt/sda2/mydsl/nxclient-1.4.0-75.dsl

This creates the application when starting the system.
An entry in /home/dsl/.Xinitrc finally starts the application.
