Hi, new user here,
I hope someone can help me with a bit of a problem that I've stumbled upon here. I used the liveCD ( apps>>tools>>usbzip ) to create a bootable image on my Lexar 1gig JumpDrive. Now I am only left with a 50mb partition and 941mb of unuseble space that I cannot for the life of me format. I want to use the pendrive for another project but am unable to revive it to its' previous state. How do i get rid of the 50mb partition and regain the use of the whole pendrive?
Also I have tried to re-format the pendrive in windows and it seems that only the 50mb is formatted. The remaining part of the drive shows up as healthy but I'm not able to format it or do anything to it either. Please help!

Update:
I've tried four things to fix my problem.
1. Windows XP Pro Computer Managment console "disk management" - Kept getting an error that I need to re-boot so that the lost partition would be active. This did absolutely nothing.
2.Knoppix 5.0.1 - Being that I'm relatively new I was unable to do anything with it. Altho, the drive DID show up with only the 50mb partition mounted and showing.
3.Kubuntu's Live (borrowed and unlabled version) cd - Recieved errors when it attempted to mount the pendrive.
4. Windows 2k Computer Managment console "disk management" - This did the trick! I was able to erase the 50mb partition effectively combining the active and inactive partitions into one unformatted partition. Then I formatted the whole thing and -WALLA!- what I thought to be a semi-bricked pendrive was back to it's former 1gb glory!
I hope this helps someone in the future. Also if anyone has a different way to do this please write it down here!
