Ok I'm VERY new to linux
I'm using DSL to play around
Now I installed it on my 1gig
usb thumb drive and it worked on this box.
Now I went over to my new box and tried to boot
It has the options whitch are
(USB-FDD,USB-ZIP,and USB-CDROM)
Now on this box the usb came up as USB-HDD
in the hard drive boot priority and
the new box would not come
up in the hard drive prioriy so I
used the USB-FDD and USB-CDROM
no dice then I used the USB-ZIP and
this error message came up
"Invalid system disk press any key
to continue"
then I went and tried to boot it up on the other
and it worked perfect. So could someone tell me
what's up. ANY help would be appreciated
thank you in advance

yeh, this is very common. on some bios's, the usb-drive will be
recognised as both as a usb-zip and/or a hdd as part of the
sub-menu of the hdd-boot when hdd is selected.

how did you create the pen-drive? using usb-hdd or usb-zip?
i found that the usb-zip format will usually work as a hdd-boot.
you need to exhaust these options.
