Hi
How can I manage that all the settings (such as the keyboard layout etc.) are saved on the usb pendrive so that I don't have to configure it again everytime I reboot?
Because that would be the advantage of booting from usb!

Search around/read up on backing up your config.
i.e. http://damnsmalllinux.org/wiki....ings.3F
for starters.

I think you missunderstood me :)
I don't want to make a backup of my system. I just want the system to remain in that state as I configured it so that after a reboot it is like it was before. (like in any other ordinary system)
