Is there a way to stop the thumbdrive from immediatly logging in? And where do I save my MyDSL extensions so they are reinstalled every time I boot?

I looked in the cdrom dir and seen knoppix so I put the extensions there ..it may not be the correct location but it worked for me..not sure about the instant access..
