Although the EPIA5000 is listed as one of the OK boards somewhere else on this forum, I have a problem booting it with a USB stick.
Stick is Sandisk Cruiser Mini 512M.
Formatted and installed DSL as per instructions somewhere else on this forum.
Tried it on another PC (with Phoenix bios) and it worked.
On the EPIA5000 (Award bios 6.00PG):
Set the first boot device as USB-ZIP (and also tried as USB-HDD).
Enabled the USB keyboard.
Stick light is on during startup, but system keeps booting from HD, where Windows is installed.
Any advise?

If it's booting OK on another machine, I wonder whether you did a USB-HDD install to the pen drive? The EPIA 5000 BIOS (Award) will not boot USB-HDD pens.

Ensure you have both USB-ZIP set up in the boot option (before the hard drive), and that you have done a USB-ZIP install to the pen drive.

I've also read on this forum that some of the larger USB drives (>256M) have trouble with the USB-ZIP format, so try a 256M or smaller pen drive if you still have problems.
