Hi i have checked the .filelist.lst and .xfilelist.lst and my home directoy is included in the .filelist and everything seems fine but if i save anything in my home directory it dissapears when i re-boot here are the contents of the two files.  Any help much appreciated.....

What backup device have you selected?
Use DSLpanel icon and select Backup/Restore to enter such, e.g. sda2
Or boot dsl with the restore option, e.g. restore=sda2
DSL does not write/backup unless you specify where is should.
