syslinux released the new 3.07 with some interesting features.

1. there is a possibility (README.usbkey) with mkdiskimage to treat the usb-stick like a ZIP Drive.

2. extlinux can boot now ext2/ext3 partitions

esp. the mkdiskimage function help me to boot from pc with broken usb boot bios.
